Pakistani Celebrities join hands in the Campaign #PolishedMen by painting one of their finger nail in order to raise awareness about child abuse.
Child Abuse has been a matter of talk for years, Children who are victims of this menace lead a difficult life as they have to deal with this trauma for the rest of their lives.
Shaniera Akram who is the wife of Pakistani cricket legend Wasim Akram, turned to her twitter and shed light on the Polished Men campaign by sharing pictures of men showing their painted nail.
She has always been very prominent in raising voices in Pakistani matters. People have also expressed hate to her many times for being the Australian but this doesn’t let her down, infact she stands up stronger than before. From the clean Karachi campaigns to this polished men campaign, she has always given her best to convey Pakistani society of such issues that matter.
“Some of the toughest men Pakistan has ever produced are showing their softer side & colouring one nail to represent the millions of children who suffer every day at the hand of an adult. Our Pakistani heroes say ‘We WILL NOT tolerate child abuse in our country’.” Shaniera Akram captioned the picture.
She says that the #PolishedMan campaign has been around for years & now in 2020 since the child violence is rising to climax in Pakistan. We couldn’t agree more with Shaniera Akram.
Celebrities such as Bilal Ashraf, Wasim Akram, Shahzad Roy, Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed, Mikaal Zulfiqar and others joined polished man campaign with their fingernails painted
